Moon Basin Marina & Cottages is a small fishing and cottage resort located in the scenic 30,000 islands of Georgian Bay formed when glaciers receded over the mighty Canadian Shield. Located at the mouth of the famous Moon River which is known for its trophy size Muskie, Walleye, Pike, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, and Crappie. The Canadian record 65 lbs Muskie was caught just around the corner! All cottages offer a breath taking view of the lake and amazing view of the Sunset's with all the amenities. Excellent deck for swimming and beautiful waterfalls nearby.
Much of the surrounding area is still vacant crown land which provides breathtaking scenery for the naturalist and photographer and also offer's excellent hunting for duck, grouse, deer and moose.
We specialize in group events with catering available. Contact us about renting the whole resort (maximum 50 people).
